Jimmy has over 16 years of experience in public accounting, including tenure with Touche Ross and Deloitte & Touche. He graduated from the University of Tennessee with a BS degree in Business Administration. His practice has a strong concentration in consulting services, including budgeting and interpretation, cash flow management, financing, bonding and licensing consultation, tax planning, succession planning and strategic planning. His industry expertise includes construction, international manufacturing, employee benefit plans and manufacturing. Jimmy has created a team of professionals who have played a significant role in the accounting for disasters, such as the World Trade Center terrorist attack, hurricanes in the Gulf of Mexico like Katrina and Rita, and wildfires in the western states. This team assists in managing the enormous amount of data and properly accounting for the projects in an emergency situation. To meet the demands of these projects, he developed new processes and procedures that serve as models for the industry. In conjunction with the Hurricane Katrina project in New Orleans, Rodefer Moss was able to provide dozens of temporary jobs to individuals whose lives were devastated by this tragedy, as well as relocating and providing permanent jobs for six individuals who relocated to Tennessee. He has served as National Employee Benefit Specialist in a national accounting firm, serves on Advisory Board to the Accounting Department of Western Carolina University, was selected to serve on the Board of Young Entrepreneurs Organization and is on the Board of Directors for the Episcopal School of Knoxville.
